What’s your favorite Easter candy?

Are you someone who bites the heads off marshmallow peeps and leaves them lying around?

Hope you’ll leave a comment.

I’m going to put on my bunny suit, rent a U-Haul, fill it with dark SS chocolate, and deliver it to you immediately, TT!!

And, really now, who deserves it more than you?? : )

HAW!!! A brilliant suggestion, Jak! Holidays come and go, but candy gluttony remains the same. And I speak from experience… : (

Thanks for the great laugh! : )

    The pain? What pain?
    If only they were more!!!!!!!!
Clearly a case of ‘can’t get enough candy*’ person!

Hope you had a jolly [well – you know what I mean] Easter, my friend.

Ha, ha!! The true candy lover does not worry about the pain– there is only the fear of running out!! : )

My dear Easter lamb–! Your wonderfully clever way of saying “can’t get enough of Mark’s illustrations” put an enormous smile on my chocolate-stained face! Thank you, dear Marina. If Kanavaki were a “kandy,” I’d munch my way to the biggest sugar high ever!! : )

I had a lovely Easter, and I hope you did, too! : )

A female version of the illustration above could be me after I’ve noshed on one too many Easter goodies.

My horror story begins when the chocolate bunnies lose their ears. They are the first to be sacrificed to my chocolate addiction. Hope you and yours had a wonderful Easter, Mark.

Say what?? You’re a fellow Easter goodie nosher?? I knew it all the time!!

Yup, chocolate bunny ears and marshmallow peep heads– they’re always the first to go. A true nosher always hones in on the easy-access points first!! When I was young and foolish, I actually tried to eat solid-chocolate bunnies with my teeth. Now in the wisdom of my dotage, I immediately fetch the hammer and chisel… : )

I had a lovely Easter, Judy, and I hope you and dear Mr. B. did, too!

We did have a wonderful Easter .. up until the cat knocked my Easter bunny off the counter in the middle of the night, tore into the bag and maybe nibbled on it. Thank goodness I’d eaten at least half of it before this happened. ;-( Well, there’s always next Easter.

Ow! A painful experience. Another reason to always empty the basket in one sitting, that would be my gluttonous conclusion… : P

Haw!! I actually thought of you, dear Tuna, when I wrote, “What’s your favorite Easter candy?”– as if I didn’t know!!

I don’t think I’d ever be hungry enough to eat a marshmallow peep– at least I hope not!! I do consider them a source of Easter joy, however– just seeing them always makes me laugh. I do love jelly beans– but not the pectin ones!! I’m a simple man who enjoys simple pleasures, you see… : P

Hope you had a joyous Easter, Robin, and that your basket came with a Reeses regenerator!! : )

I love Reeses eggs, Cadbury mini eggs (not the gloppy ones wiht the fake yoke) but the best candy in the world is Chocolate Ice cubes, but good luck finding them.

Thanks, Alison. Yes, indeed– love those Reeses! Chocolate and peanut butter– definitely a match made in heaven. I’ve tried those Cadbury eggs with the fake yolks– not my cuppa yellow sugar, I’m afraid. I haven’t seen a chocolate Ice Cube in years. I remember a country store where they were always in stock. I spent a small fortune there, but not as much as my brother… : )

Great to see you, hope your Easter was joyful and delicious!!

Someone mentioned reusing your candy gluttony haiku for other holidays… here’s my blog on the top 10 worst excuses for candy ever! http://wp.me/p13Md6-2A I find these help to stem the gluttony if added to the mix. This post was written for Halloween, but there are Halloween peeps and they made it to my list.
