Angered by Washington State senators’ opposition to oil-drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, an Alaskan state rep introduced a resolution in the Alaska State Legislature to cut Washington off by ending the four-decade-old
ferry service between the two states.
Why did I use apples to represent Washington State? Because Washington produces most of the eating apples consumed in the United States.
