Humpty Dow-Jones Had A Great Fall
A wry quick-sketch comment on the stock market’s recent plunge.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average posted a 4.1% decline for the week ending February 2nd. That was its biggest weekly drop since January 2016.
Until this week– when things got worse.
This week (ending today, February 9th) is projected to be the Dow’s biggest one-week drop since October 2008.
Investors, hold onto your hats.

Marvelous illustration of the situation! Even the little bird on top of the wall – Love it! BTW this post inspired me to look up Humpty Dumpty in Wiki, since the rhyme we know never actually says he’s an egg but he’s always portrayed that way. Wow! Humpty’s had a violent life! And your thoroughly cracked version of him is the best so far!
