During the recent debt ceiling debate, President Obama said it was time to “eat our peas.” However, he ultimately signed a deal which “kicks the can down the road,” and puts off any hard fiscal choices until after the 2012 election. It reminded me of Robert Frost’s famous poem, The Road Not Taken.
