Two former mayors: Mike Bloomberg (New York City) and Clint Eastwood (Carmel, CA).
The Wall Street Journal Weekend edition of February 22-23, 2020, had an interview with Mr. Eastwood. He said he liked “certain things that Trump has done,” but he was backing Mike Bloomberg for President.
Alas, Mr. Bloomberg failed to make Clint’s day: he fared poorly in a string of Democratic state primaries shortly after the interview, and dropped out of the race.
