Trying To Communicate An Idea, A Value, A Brand? Try Animation
Richard Glynn, a PR and marketing guru who runs The Buzz Factory over in the UK, posted this video on LinkedIn this morning.
It presents a familiar idea– one we’ve all heard before– but notice how the illustration format holds your attention and gets the point across.
It’s a good reminder, too, that “animation” can take different forms: Disney- or Chuck Jones-style, stop-motion, time-lapse, etc.
A big reason this particular video holds your attention is the hand-drawing. It has a spontaneity and energy you don’t find in cartoon templates or computer-assisted animation.
A lot of marketing videos look the same. If you’re looking to stand out, think animation.
