The Turkey Stuffs Himself
Twitter used to limit tweets to a maximum of 140 characters. Recently, it doubled that to 280 characters.
You can attach up to 4 images to a tweet. Images don’t add anything to the character count.![]()
I thought it might be fun to try telling a story in 280 characters. A Thanksgiving story seemed appropriate. Here’s the tweet:![]()

The Turkey walked into a restaurant.
He ordered a pound of butter; an onion, 5 stalks of celery, and 2 apples (chopped);
a bowl of chicken broth; and 3 pounds of toasted bread crumbs.
He believed in being proactive.
So he stuffed himself.

Did he pop a few antacid tablets? We’ll never know– that would put me over the limit. 😊
