Hey Paris, Let It All Hang Down
I do a cartoon every month for Inside Counsel Magazine. It’s for a humor feature called Strange Suits, which looks at some of the more bizarre lawsuits that have been filed recently. The latest involves socialite Paris Hilton who’s being sued for $35 million by a hair extensions manufacturer for allegedly breaking her contract by wearing a rival company’s extensions. Here, everyone gets into the act. Scroll down to see the rough sketches for the other lawsuits.
A Queens, NY man is suing the makers of Trident gum because he thought that chewing the gum would repair his teeth and save him a trip to the dentist.
Apple Corp is being sued over its new iPad, which Apple claims is “just like reading from a book.” Not so, says a class action lawsuit, which contends that a real book does
not sometimes shut down when read in direct sunlight.
A woman is suing a bus company after the driver opened the door, leaned out, vomited, and then fell out. The bus continued down the road and ran into a ditch.
