Illustrator Gets Manicure, Shows Off New Thumbnails
Did I really get a manicure? Well, no.
Do I need one? Um, probably… my cuticles aren’t as cute as they should be. 😊
But I do have new thumbnails. Portfolio thumbnails, that it is. You can see them over in the sidebar.
They’re not all new– just the ones in the top 4 brackets. Here’s a screenshot:
I added 45 “new” pieces. I was so far behind, I had to stick the last 15 in the “fridge.”
I’m embarrassed, and that’s no joke. Keeping one’s portfolio up to date should be a top priority for any artist.

to see the corresponding illustration.
Now I’m off to get that manicure… 🙌😊

Gotta say, I’ve always loved how you label each group of thumbnails – hot off the press, still warm, cooled down, etc… always found that very clever 😊😋

Hi, Lily! I think I only had 4 thumbnail categories when I started out. I keep adding new ones to accommodate the oldies. Just tacked on “From The Crypt” this time around. Hmm. It doesn’t exactly inspire confidence… 😕 Great to see you, thanks for stopping by!! 😊
