I was featured in a G2 post called 18 Expert Tips for Building Greater Brand Awareness in 2019.blank vertical space, 16 pixels high

It contains some excellent tips– well worth reading.blank vertical space, 16 pixels high

Here’s a tired bit of advice we’ve all heard a million times: ask satisfied customers for testimonials.blank vertical space, 16 pixels high

Hopefully, most of us do that.blank vertical space, 16 pixels high

My tip revolves around the fact that most of these testimonials see very limited use: they sit on our LinkedIn profile and/or our website.blank vertical space, 16 pixels high

Put those testimonials into wider circulation.blank vertical space, 16 pixels high

Fashion each one into a small graphic, and put one at the
end of all your blog posts. Tweet them and post them to
your other social channels as well.blank vertical space, 16 pixels high

I include a headshot of the person, along with their testimonial. You can see one at the bottom of this post.

Hi Mark…. good points and something that I should do more of. Do you ever have any of your customers/clients question why you want a photo of them when you include it with their testimonials? Thanks for the tips, I’ll try to make good use of them.

Hi John, sorry to be late responding here– what else is new, right?? I’ve requested most of my recommendations thru LinkedIn, and just pulled the person’s photo from their LI profile. There was a case where the person hadn’t posted a photo, and I did write and request one, explaining how I’d only be using it for one thing– and the person sent me a photo. I’m pretty confident most people would do the same, since they’ve already demonstrated their good opinion of you. Glad you found the post helpful– wishing the best, as is my custom!! 😊
